Activities supported by the programme facilitate understanding of domestic violence and equal opportunities issues among politicians and representatives of the public administration. This shows in the quality of approved legislation as well as developments at regional and municipal levels. The Persefona and Gender Studies organisations together presented valuable information on cyber bullying at a public hearing at the Senate of the Czech Republic that introduced Senators to the state and extent of this problem in the Czech Republic. ProFem were active in advocating the passage of two new acts on substitute alimony and free legal aid. The NORA Gender Information Centre organised 17 round tables for regional administrations and officials on the issue of the gender pay gap and was attended by 261 persons.
