Substantiated information and exact data are the key to every successful planning process. However, there had not been sufficient data on the extent of domestic violence in the Czech Republic. The supported analyses and research helped lift the area from the world of myths and give it a concrete shape. Thus, we know now that, for instance, every third woman in the Czech Republic has experienced domestic violence or that the state gives more than one billion CZK to deal with the consequences of domestic violence every year. In 2011 female representation in the top management of private enterprises was below 33%; by the end of the project it reached 36%. Other research studied the extent of so-called structural violence, the economic effects of motherhood on a woman’s life, female representation in politics or the scope of cyber violence. Detailed and exact data will help the Czech Republic better set up assistance programmes as well as save substantial funds from the state budget.
