We took part in a training exercise by the Alternativ til Vold (ATV, Alternative of Violence) organisation in Norway led by Barbora Jakobsen and Marius Råkil. Norwegian experts also attended. Now our organisation is not only qualified to work with the animated film Sinna Mann, but can also apply the newly acquired know-how in educational and therapeutic programmes. Following our study trip we began to methodically integrate the film Sinna Mann into our existing activities. These are workshops for parents, anger management groups and anger management method training. A debate of the most suitable approach and timing took place during our organisation’s strategic planning in October 2016. Detailed elaboration of activities and integration of the know-how into our programmes is not taking place.
We are also working on the new concept of a seminar accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to support professional competencies of teachers. The workshop will use the film mentioned above. We have prepared two articles that present Norwegian examples of best practices and experience; the publication of these articles is tied to the opening of newly conceived workshops, which aim to address target groups on the websites www.ilom.cz and www.muziprotinasili.cz.
