Thanks to this project, deeper ties have developed between organisations active in women’s personal development and equal opportunities for women and men. We have helped to establish and strengthen cooperation with50 entities active in this area.
The Spectrum of Women’s Development Platform (25 members) has been established and its activities, which surpass the original scope of the project, are proof of its sustainability. Five project plans on the topic have been completed and more are being prepared; at least two projects are already being implemented. We organised meetings of five thematic expert groups and put on five professional workshops and conferences. We have published a collection of examples of best practices and a methodology of women’s personal development; we have initiated 27 media outputs, set up a web site, a Facebook profile, and approached 53,000 people on social networks. We have also submitted a proposal to the Government Council for Equal Opportunities. The planned outputs have all been achieved. The target group (organisations dealing with gender equality and experts in this field) has participated in the preparation of workshops and conferences as well as other project activities.
The main benefit of our activities came from successfully connecting a wide range of reputable entities active in this area, who shared individual methods of women’s personal development and transferred them into new environments (from business to non-profit organisations, from the public administration to business, etc.). A total of 179 people participated.
