Equal Opportunities for every eay life

This project focused on women returning to the labour market after maternity leave. These women often seek employment unsuccessfully because they take care of small children and lack proper information and support from their surroundings. The aim of this project, which was based on a partnership of three organisations, was to raise awareness of equal opportunities for women and men among ordinary Czech women. We supported a group of women in setting up their own organisation, which offers activities for women in the Vysočina Region. The organisation is now independent and has begun to organise workshops for local women. We also worked on raising awareness among employers and the public about the forms and benefits of flexible forms of employment for this target group. In collaboration with two other organisations, we have created a publication that is now widely distributed in a targeted manner. Both the activities in the region and the publication received considerable media attention. These facts demonstrate the sustainability of the project, the objectives of which were fully met.
