The aim of the project is to learn and get inspired by the know-how of the Norwegian NGOs and state institutions working in the field of the fight against gender based violence. We want to broaden our knowledge in this field, especially in the area of domestic and sexual violence and if possible, to use some of the procedures and methods in our practice.
We plan to visit 2 NGOs focusing on the fight against gender-based violence. We will focus on their work with the clients, on cooperation with the police, with institutions for social care for children and with providers of medical care. Also we want to learn about the organisational know-how. One of the NGOs will be SEIF, the partner of our project.
We plan to get acquainted with the legislation concerning gender-based violence and to learn about the problems in jurisdiction and medical care provided for victims. We plan to visit an asylum shelter and research center monitoring and analysing statistic data.
Project activities are workshops and discussions with the Norweigan experts. We will also visit relevant organizations and institutions. Our project partner SEIF will support the program assurance of our trip to Norway.
