Gender in migration – tranferring experience from Norway to the Czech Republic

UPRAVIT: The project focuses on the transfer of Norwegian experience and good practices in the field of gender in migration to the Czech Republic. This will happen especially during a study visit of representatives of the Czech NGO SIMI to Norway, when they will meet, in cooperation with the partner SEIF Oslo, several local experts and actors involved in this field of work. The project also entails participation and presentation of a Czech expert at a prestigious expert event Nordic Migration Conference as well as a discussion of the project partners on the gender in migration related matters from the NGO perspective, and this in connection to the film of the Czech partner The Women Next Door. The acquired knowledge and experience from Norway will later be used at a seminar on the topic of gender in migration, designed for NGO workers, social services and local authorities in Prague. The outputs are a presentation at the conference in Norway, bilateral recommendations for Czech policy makers, organized meetings in Norway and expert seminar in Prague, 2 media inputs.
